We use a two-layer approach. The inner quartz tube holds the halogen gas to keep things efficient, while an outer sleeve acts like a shield, stopping corrosive vapors from eating through the glass.&#xA;And here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: the wiring junctions are usually where things go wrong. They&amp;rsquo;re the weakest link. We use reinforced, sealed connectors so no electrical arc can ever leak out of the housing. If you&amp;rsquo;re working in an area with high vapor concentrations, these seals are the only thing standing between a normal workday and a disaster.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
