The Build: Simple Choices, Real Results
Inside, the halogen element lives in a quartz envelope. That combo keeps output steady and helps the lamp take repeated on-off cycles without burning out early. We also added a specialized coating on the tube. It keeps more heat inside the envelope and pushes more infrared energy outward, so more usable warmth actually reaches your plants and soil. And for the install, we went with an R7s base. It locks in securely, handles high heat, and makes swapping lamps a straightforward job—just a drop-in replacement into what you already have.
