Introduction
Picture this: you step out onto your patio, and the cold air hits you. But then, you flip on the Halogen Patio Heater, and within seconds, you feel a wave of warmth. It’s not just any heat—it’s direct, focused, and immediate. We built this heater to be a compact powerhouse. Its secret? A shortwave halogen lamp that throws off intense infrared heat. It doesn’t waste time warming the air around you. It goes straight to warming you and your space.
What Makes It Tick
Here’s the thing—this isn’t some dainty little heater. These units pack a serious punch, cranking out between 2500W and 4000W. They run on a high voltage, either 230V or 400V, which is exactly why the whole thing stays so surprisingly small. You get a lot of heat without a bulky machine taking up space. And that lamp? It’s kept short—about 300mm. That keeps the heat intense and focused in one tight spot.
The Build
At the heart of it all is a quartz envelope. It’s tough enough to handle the rapid heat-up and cool-down cycles, and the extreme temperatures inside. We also fill it with halogen gas, which helps keep the filament stable and stops it from burning out too soon. And the R7s connector? It’s the standard for a reason. It handles the high current, keeps everything lined up perfectly, and makes swapping out the lamp a breeze. Just pop it in, and you’re good to go.
How It Feels to Use
When you’re standing out there, the best part is how fast it kicks in. Full heat, right away. The infrared energy zeroes in on you, not the empty air around you. But, let’s be real—with that kind of power, you need to give it some space. Adequate clearance and proper ventilation are a must. The lamp itself runs hot, so the reflector and housing are built to handle that kind of heat, hour after hour.
